Global Young Voices turns one: Top 10 articles of our first year

Feb. 15 of 2015 was our first day on the World Wide Web. Today, a year later, we're celebrating the one-year anniversary of our online fruit, Global Young Voices.

Over the past 12 months, the GYV team has been relentlessly inspired by a special and unique feature we have and value, our diversity, our hallmark.

We've heard lots of positive feedback from our followers and critics, and that incentivized us to keep going and growing.

We've managed to build a platform where many high-profile millennials worldwide shared their thoughts and ideas about their countries with peers in disparate parts of the world, and we hope to be able to continue to do so for years to come.

On this occasion, we created a shortlist of the first year's top 10 articles, picked based on quality and popularity by our editor-in-chief, Edy Semaan.

Scroll down from the tenth to the first and click on the titles as you go to read our best so far.
