Two Minute Video on What Millennials Worldwide Expect from Work
Henrik Bresman is an Associate Professor of Organizational Behavior at INSEAD. In a study he conducted in February 2015, he describes the expectations that Millennials (individuals born between the 80s and early 2000s) have regarding their professional life. In this short video his findings are exposed and are centered on the idea that to attract, retain, and develop Millennial leaders, companies need to consider specific regional differences. This is because what matters to an American Millennial might differ from what matters to a Brazilian Millennial and so on. Furthermore while it’s important to understand what is considered fundamental in a particular culture, it is also necessary to remember that people vary within each culture: if there is one thing to be known about Millennials worldwide, it is that they want to be seen as individuals.
