VIDEO: Romanian group stands up for a Europe of Nations

Alina Stredie, a young Romanian PR specialist, produced a popular video, along with a group of Romanian peers coming from all walks of life, to support a "Europe of Nations." According to Stredie, the group is called "Gandeste Romania!" meaning: "Think, Romania!"

The reason behind the video was, Stredie told Global Young Voices, to send out a message of hope and unity in a time when the European continent is at the verge of war.

"At the same time," Stredie said, "we want to stand up for the protection of each country's roots and traditions in order to counteract the mainstream propaganda that is promoting emptiness through consumerism."

The group doesn't want to be mistaken as Euroskeptic, though. They are, according to Stredie, "people who want a united Europe that stands for its countries' history, traditions, faith and culture, a Europe of Nations."
