Aoife Flood, a senior manager of the Global Diversity and Inclusion Programme Office at PwC, is responsible for the development and implementation of the company’s network-wide global diversity and inclusion strategy.
A prominent millennial woman, she is also a lead researcher and the author of several leadership publications, including “Moving women with purpose: Creating gender inclusive global mobility,” “The female millennial: A new era of talent,” and “Next Generation Diversity: Developing tomorrow’s female leaders.”
Today, on the occasion of International Women’s Day, we’re sharing this three-minute video in which Flood speaks on female millennials in the workplace and the five key points organizations should be aware of to attract and engage this significant talent pool.
According to a related report, although millennial women represent 40 percent of the total workforce and a further one billion are expected to enter it over the next decade, only 4.8 percent of them hold a CEO position. Even more, 71 percent of them feel that while organizations talk about diversity, opportunities are not equal for all.
